Robin Rose turned 19 today - 16 June 2009! Gee how the time flies! I have known her since she was 12! Seeing that we are a mad bunch of Vegetarians, our favorite Restaurant is far from here that serves the most amazing Vegetarian Food and that is in Chatsworth, an Indian suburb of Durban. Chatsworth has the largest population of Indian people outside India. Scroll down for my favorite food recipe at the temple!
Our most favourite place to eat at is at the Hare Krishna Golden Temple of Understanding. Although we are not Hare Krishna's, the Restaurant is part of the Temple which is beautifully adorned, you are allowed into the Temple and to take photos, shoes off of course! Before one enters the temple one can and should ring the big brass bell with one strike. It is truly an experience to see the inside of the temple.
We just love the Hare Krishna folk, they may appear to be weird or strange to some, but I find them very Godly, (there is only one God) and they have such wonderful energies and vibes they give out. Peace and Love and they do the most amazing things, they just go around feeding the poor and starving for free all the time. So any money spent at the Temple goes towards such a wonderful cause and most kindly act.
