Barry's Paint Shop Pro Tutorial - Exporting Tubes

EXPORTING or installing tubes into PSP one at a time can be a real tiresome task. Remember, usually, you cannot simply copy a downloaded tube into the Tube folder in PSP, unless if it is in a certain format. Tubes downloaded from Barry's Place need not to be Exported into Paint Shop Pro - Simply Copy & Paste them into your picture tubes folders. Follow this link COPYING & PASTING TUBES tutorial to find out more!
If you have any downloaded tubes in your collection that are zipped, you will need to unzip them with a programme like Win Zip which you can get at www.winzip.com
.

STEP ONE
In PSP X point your cursor to the BROWSE icon or in PSP 9 or earlier, either click on the similar icon or go to FILE | BROWSE.
STEP TWO
On the left hand side pane in the browser window, navigate to where you have saved your (unzipped) tubes, on the right hand side you will see a thumbnail view of the tubes. Remember if a tube is zipped, it WILL NOT show in the browser window of Paint Shop Pro, or Windows Explorer.

We will pretend that my tubes are saved to C:/Downloads/Tubes and that is where we are going to browse to see the tubes that we want to export into Paint Shop Pro.
STEP THREE
If you want to install all the tubes that you see in the right hand side pane of the browser window, SINGLE left click on any thumbnail image of a tube on the right hand side of the browser window to make that the active area. *Then hold down the CTRL key and then press A on your keyboard. Then you will see that all the thumbnails are now selected.*

Press the ENTER key on your keyboard, which will open all the selected thumbnails as .tub images in PSP.

....OR....

If you want to install selective tubes - hold down the CTRL key and choose the tubes by single clicking on the desired thumbnails and then hit the Enter Key. Now you will be able to see all the tubes, layered one over the other with the Browser window right at the back.
