Colouring Swirls In Paint Shop Pro

Instructions For PSP 9 & X and I Am Sure
You Can Figure It Our For Other Versions Of PSP

Stage One

1. Go to FILE/BROWSE and browse to where you have unzipped my .eps files.
2. The previews will show on the right hand side. Double click the one you want to change the colour of.
3.A box will appear, to get the best results of a colour change I would type in the DPI box 300.
4. Then Click OK

Stage Two

PSP X users are to please read all the instructions. I will show you later on in the tutorial where the placement of the Colour Changer Tool can Be found in PSP X, as it is not the same as in PSP 9 - Thank You.

1. Click on the eye dropper tool and you will see a drop down option to choose the Colour Replacer tool. Please select that tool.
2. Please make sure that your BACKGROUND FILL COLOUR is set to BLACK - This is because the image we are working with is black - all my swirls will be in back FYI. :-) THEN all you have to do is select the FOREGROUND COLOUR TO THE COLOUR OF YOUR CHOICE!! :-) (Sorry we spell color differently in South Africa as you have noticed) :-)

Stage Three

1. Once you have selected the Colour Replaer Tool make sure that you have set the OPACITY TOLERANCE To 100%. (You could use the paint brush but clicking the icon as show in this sentence does if automatically for you, with the click of a button. (PLEASE NOTE: You Can Even Choose A Gradient or a Pattern fill if you so desired).

1. YOU DO NOT have to click or select the design with the Magic Wand whatsoever - You simply apply the Inner Bevel affect.
2. You can also apply any other Bevel Plug-In you may have. Usually you should then change the design to white if you are using a 3rd party plug-in like Super Blade Pro etc.
